Managing Instagram Accounts

You can connect multiple Instagram profiles to your Podswap account to manage different niches or creator pages.

To add a new account:

1. Navigate to the Instagram Profiles dashboard — Go to Instagram Profiles →.
2. Scroll down and click the Add Another Instagram Account button.
3. Follow the onboarding wizard to connect and categorise your new profile.

Once added, the system may take a few minutes to verify and fetch your profile data. You will see a verifying status until the first scan is complete.

You have the flexibility to toggle the active status of each connected profile.

• Active Profiles — Fully functional. They can participate in exchanges, earn points, and receive engagements.
• Inactive Profiles — Are temporarily paused. They are hidden from the creator directory and cannot place or receive orders.

To toggle a profile's status, use the action menu on the account card. Deactivating a profile does not delete its data; it simply pauses its participation in the system.

Podswap periodically checks your connected profiles for updates. If you've recently updated your profile on Instagram and want those changes reflected immediately, you can manually trigger a sync.

Open the account actions to sync your profile. This fetches the most recent data (followers, details) directly from Instagram. This process is rate-limited, so use it only when necessary.

Each connected profile receives a dedicated account card displaying essential statistics, including your follower count, privacy status, verification badge, and profile health score.

The health score helps match you with high-quality creators during exchanges. Keeping your account active and participating authentically will improve and maintain a strong profile health score.

If you abandoned the profile onboarding process before finishing, it will appear as an incomplete setup. You can easily remove these ghost setups directly from your dashboard by deleting the incomplete account.
